As you depart the pier you will begin noticing the extraordinary in Costa Rica… The green. The luscious… The life!
Costa Rica is really a country that is described by their daily motto: Pura Vida… Pure Life!
And nowhere in this macrodiverse country this pure life shows as it does in the Caribbean Enjoy the marvellous experience of taking the tour that will give you the opportunity going from the water to the air… From a marvelous boat tour to crossing the “jungle” like a monkey in its habitat.
The first part of the tour is at the magical Tortuguero Canals, looking at a fantastic humid rainforest, birds and monkeys, iguanas and sloths.
As you finish the awe of these forests you will get into a much more human, yet, interesting process, the banana plantations and packing house. And then, at the end of that and after a short bus ride, go for the adventures! Gliding through the treetops: 11 cables and 12 platforms stretched across the length of the rain forest. The longest cable is 270m long and you will experience heights up to 80m. Here you can enjoy the gripping thrill of the wind in your face as you soar through the rain forest witnessing some of the most spectacular views.
The platforms are arranged at different heights and levels of excitement. Up to platform 5, all cables are of similar length, however after this platform, the cables become even more thrilling. Here those people who would like to give up and return to the lodge may do so. This opportunity is also offered at platform 7. For those of you who enjoy the thrill, its go, go, go, all the way to platform 12.
Back in the port of Limon we will have a sightseeing tour through the city before getting you back in the ship.
